It's possible the update was wrong, but you would at least boot to something. It's far more likely that something is interfering with the retail NAND booting, especially since the CB has now changed.

Is your coolrunner turned off when you boot to retail nand or is it still on. Basically it looks like an updated console wont glitch so if the coolrunner is off it should boot to retail nand.

If it doesn't boot to retail nand with the coolrunner off tyhere's a problem.

The glitched nand wont work at all for the minute until it's rehacked anyway so turn off your coolrunner.

After you updated your dash, did you increased the LDV counter? Either way you CANT loose RGH capability in Dual-Nand system due to the simple fact that your RGH nand is not modified (if installed correctly).

Did you reset the SMC after the update?

Of course you can. It just so happens in this instance, the new CB has been defeated already but it's certainly not a guarantee every time.

Do you even know how your Xbox works? IF you have a proper Dual Nand, you can't lose the functionality when updating the retail - because CB_A have no fusecheck and the nand is not accessible in your stock dash. All you have to do is increase the LDV +1. You'll have 14717 on your stock dash, but you'll boot into 14699 on your RGH. Updating the RGH to 14717 is another question, but its not that important as there is nothing that required 14717.

Yeah. Still a complete noob for the rgh but I think MS disabled the POST signal with the new dash update and the glitch chips don't know what to do without it. I think they were using it to tell when the glitch had been successful and without it they're left clueless. (If that's wrong can someone correct me it helps me learn). If thats right that's what stopped you booting.
