LITEON 9504 Updated to 0272 and can't flash

1. Win7 32bit
2. SATA CABLE
3. LITE-ON 9504
4. No Xecuter products

First of all i should let u know that am totally new to all this, n i've only started to read about this whole xbox360 flashing just few hours ago, that's been said...here is my issue:

I have an xbox360 Slim 4G model, that's been never opened, never flashed, never modified in anyway, never anything. and i did update to this last microsoft's Oct 2011 update, and my Dashboard became 2.0.13599.0

I found this whole thing exciting to mess with so i took my chances, and took my xbox apart ( took 2 hours to do )n which was a total pain in the ass, anyways finally reached my drive and the label says Lite-On with FW V 9504.

Now i read abt all those CK3 and X360USBPRO stuffs and all, but i didn't get any of them, so i just used a more "barbarian" classic way of connecting my xbox to my PC, which is basically just connecting a normal sata cable i already have between my Xbox drive n my PC and using the xbox itself to power up the drive, and i also was told to keep the xbox plugged in to the tv to make sure the power don't get cut off.

So after doing all that, i downloaded JungleFlasher.0.1.85.Beta and 1.89Beta as well, and a bunch of iXtreme firmware and stock firmware.

I tried BOTH Jungle Flasher versions, and got the below result:

then i tried going to DVDKey 32 and clicked on SlimKey n then tried going to MTKFlash 32 and clicked on Slim Unlock, both ways did not work and the last error message i got was the below:

I don't really know how much of crap doings and "mind blasting" of trash i've done there, all i know is i currently can't afford the CK3 and the usbpro u most of guys here use, however..if that's like the only way of getting things done then i guess i got no other choices but to get em..


sooo umm what i wanna know is:
- Have i damaged my console doing all that?
- Is updating my dashboard to 2.0.13599.0 a dead end?
-If i still got any chances of flashing my console, is getting a CK3 and a USBPRO a must?


And of course it would be really great if someone tell me in basic language what have i done wrong and what steps should i do with jungle flasher incase there is still hope to flash it now...

ok first thing you REALLY need to read and follow the jungle flasher tutorial

My advice is to go and read a few of the tutorials to give you an idea of what you need or have a look in the traders section for someone in you area that can do it for you

your pcb is locked so you have to use the slimkey in the mtkflash 32 tab,click no to the first pop up.and yes to the second pop up,and power cycle your drive.

and thats just to get your dummy file.

now as your pcb is spi locked then you wont be able to write cfw onto it.

but as you got no tx products.

then thats as far as i can help you.

ok got it, no using console to power drive, sooo have i damaged my console now ? any way to make sure ?

well technically correct me if im wrong but dgenx the man in this thread for slims, if u power any console without drive attached it will flag with m$ and result in a ban:facepalm:

THAT's all ?? n i thought i might've damaged the console or somethin, well i don't really care whether i get banned or not, i don't enjoy playing online anyways, which is why i decided to flash it, i do believe whatever method u use, once u open up ur console n start messing with it, at some point, u just gonna lose the online experiment aka get banned. as whatever trick u use, they just eventually gonna get u caught, coming from the PS3 hacking scene

ill take that back, ps3 scene is dead how hard was that to flash cfw by usb? no keys for 3.60 fw games, maybe one day u will get one of them guys there not sueing to open the door again,

back to topic u seem to just wanna open this up try and read and flash key cheapest way possible, u want help buy these guys products, id be lost without them:crazy:

whatever you do is upto you.but you need to find out what board your drive has got,

mxic or winbond.

so get your dummy file.

once you done that post your jf log.

no dont turn the console of to power cycle.

i think you pull the power cable out for the drive and then put it back in again.

being carefull not to plug it back in upside down.

or you fry your drive.:eek2:

You're saying to use slimKey in MTK flash 32 ? it doesn't even exist there, there is only unlock slim, which when i click, i just get an error message, the one that pops up two windows u talking abt is when i use SlimKey in DVDkey32 tab...thats the one i should use ?

okay, i did some readings n guess there no choice but to get an x360usbpro bundle, so am getting one that i think have everything i need including CK3i.

now i've updated to dash 13599 so i have a locked SPI and 0272 drive right

i read i need a switch, which needs soldering n what not which i don't really fancy n also i think amma need to replace my whole drive soon too, so been thinking would getting Liteon DG-16D4S - Unlocked Replacement PCB, saves me all that soldering trouble ?
