Should I only flash my xbox back to stock when there is a firmware update?
Must I also do it for game updates, zune...?

One stupid queation, but I want to know: how will i know when my xox is banned?

Whenever there is a new dashboard released, it is always best to revert back to stock drive firmware, update the dashboard and then flash to the latest firmware.

Updates can be download via XBOX Live or they can be installed from a USB stick.

xval v2 can tell you whether you have been flagged. People argue it is outdated util but still seems useful in some circumstances.

You will know...you wont be able to connect to Live and you will get a nice error message saying so!

You can check if you have a flag by using a program called xval. Its old and outdated but will still show failed ap25 challenges for XGD2 and XGD3 discs

No one has been banned for an ap25 flag and I doubt they ever will. It's a classic case of scare mongering by gossip masses.

Find the xvalue in system information ans type it in with your serial.. Thats it..

On the 360 dash, go to Console Settings --> Console Settings --> System Info.
