http://www.team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58111 hi. I'm planning to follow the above tut. My friend is installing the nand-x pin headers now. My problem is I don't know if it has Alternate SMC Configuration Points. It has wires and capacitors under the mobo for the jtag. How will I know if it has alternate smc config?

do i need to disconnect the jtag wire? i'm not familiar with jtag using capacitors. I use tx jtag connections.

Ask the person who did the JTAG wiring. They'll know what they did. Failing that, dump the existing NAND and extract the SMC (nandpro [filename]: -r16 smc.bin 0 1) and write it back to the one you create (nandpro [new filename]: -w16 smc.bin 0 ).

You shouldn't need to remove anything to update.
