RGH Updating Dashboard Post RGH Install

Hi, sorry for being a total n00b here. I actually have an original xbox with an x3 modchip, and I'm usually really good at following instructions, which is why I usually don't post on forums, and I'm not looking to be spoon fed.

Regarding 14699 dash, which is running nicely on my box now, you need to use multi builder v 0.5 to get this version. Then do the $$ystemUpdate with the m$ 14699, which you can download for USB key from their site.

Now, I just recently bought my coolrunner, and have everything wired except the ground, as I am still waiting to order my Nand-X.

My question is, according to aforementioned quote, do I use multi builder to build the nand image for the updated dashboard, and then use the official m$ update folder renammed to $$ystemUpdate to update my dashboard?

Just looking to get this clarified as this was somewhat confusing to me.

You could also try j-runner to build your image. The last rhg i did was before the updates, but yes, all i did was rename the M$ update file 14699 to $$ystem update put it on a usbpen drive formatted to fat 32, plug it in and let it do its thing.

Much appreciated, I just wanted to clarify, as the whole updating Post Glitch, confuses me lol. Like I said, I'm usually really good at following guides on this sort of thing, but there really isn't all that much on how to update post glitch, just how to install the glitch. So it seams anyway.

What dash your in Now If its 14699 you dont need to update to newdash as it has no new feature.

Yeah, My brothers Xbox is not banned from Xbox LIVE and when his console updated I saw that it had no new features. My Console is 14699 currently, but it was banned way before that update. I've been updating via USB. I was just curious as to how to update Post RGH for when new features are released.

lol yea my friend lost his live privileges yestersday to a fing lag switch!!!!! that was patched in like '06. ha silly silly I had just talked him into letting me install my first demon on his...no point now

lol, yeah, im gonna look into installing a demon in mine anyway for when xecuter releases the Fusion Kernal.

Lol, probably still won't be able to get online, but at least you could have a custom kernal to play with, LMAO.
