Its been a year (or more) since i don't use my switch and i've been sitting on FW 6.0.0 since then.
I wanted to play some of the new games such as Fire Emblem 3Houses in .xci format but when i try to run it with 6.0.0 i get a problem about unable to read the cartridge or something. My guess is that the firmware is too low for that.
Therefore i have some simple questions about it. (Yes i read the How to Update Firmware OFFLINE - Nintendo Switch with ChoiDujourNX guide but it still have some questions since it doesnt specify things when using emunand)
1) First of all , i'm not banned. I guess creating an emunand and updating there would be my best bet instead of doing it through OFW to preserve my system, correct? (I already have a nand backup for my 6.0.0 version)
2) Given that the emunand is created, where do i put the ChoiDujourNX file? Do i still put the ChoiDujourNX.nro in root or do i put it inside emunand or emutendo folder?
3) Same thing as 2 for the firmware folder?
4) Same thing as 2 for the xci games?
4) Afaik updating my emunand wont do sh*t to my efuses even if im not using autorcm or anyhting like that since its updating the Emunand and not the OFW. I can still safelly swap between 6.0.0 OFW and the 8.1.0 CFW in emunand since my efuses wont be burnt correct?
