That's not what the white button's for.
Switch on the Xbox as per normal and hold the White button down to access X3CL.

Just wondering i got a 360 from a freind that had it modded. My question is i want to play cod online and it is not a back-up i just bought it , will my console get banned?? Not to sure what firmware version is on it, i do know its I-extreme. Thanks

really only MS knows, I think they will find a way to detect LT and that will be getting hit by the hammer later this year.
