Updating OFW V2 SX Core

Hi.
I got lucky and managed to buy and have someone install a SX Core chip in my V2 console. I'm running the latest OFW(installed before the chip) and the latest SXOS version.
I have seen news that ChoiDjour bricks V2 modded consoles if you try and update OFW.
My question is; In case i need to update OFW, how do i do it without Choi ? Some people mentioned stuff but i think i'm too new to the scene to understand it, since i didn't find "steps" or concrete info/tutorials.
Another somewhat related thing that i want to ask; I managed to backup my nand but i didn't touch emunand. Is it safe to create emunand on V2 consoles?

Yes its safe to create emunand on v2 consoles. There will be solution for updating it via choi.

That sounds great. Is the emunand like the nandbackup ? in terms of size i mean. Can i remove the backup from my sd to save some space? I would store the backup to my pc and a stick.
