So here's the thing.
I have a 2006 xenon which runs perfectly fine and did for a while. (Bear in mind this xbox was given to me).
When updating to the latest dash (at the time) it gave me the following error:
23ef-335a-b380-0402-c000-0001
Taking apart the first 2 parts and changing them to decimal from hex shows the 2 dashboards it is stuck between. 9199 and 13146.
So, I took a look at the DVD drive firmware, and turns out the drive in the console (Hitatchi 47 series) returns the following info:
So, I tried restoring original FW (without the spoof) which didn't work, I tried restoring original then manually spoofing - which also didn't work. I then used the auto spoof function, which did work however still then froze on the update at around 30%.
I then took an old BENQ (since it was spoofed as that) and flashed on the 9199 original FW with the correct DVD key however that did not work at all.
Does anyone have any suggestions? It'd be nice to get this working, as if not I have a useless Xenon mobo and a drive that's not really of any use too.
PS: Sorry if this is in the wrong place, not quite sure where else it'd fit.
