1. You must revert to stock before any update.

2. Yes, it has been said to work with LT+ 3.0 fine.

3. Yes, you also need to burn your backups (of your retail discs ;)) using an iHAS burner (flashed with Burner MAX) otherwise you will run into issues regardless of whether or not you play online.

If you don't play online and you plan to RGH your console at any stage do not update to the latest dash 14717. Go as far as 14699 for the minute. All games will work and you still have the option of RGH open to you. Going to the latest dash inhibits the hackfor now.

[2011-10-12 12:51PM UTC] #c4e <c4eva> a locked slim is safe during update, no need to flash to stock.

This is where people get it from http://c4evaspeaks.com/c4eva-2011-10-12-c4e/

More than likely changed now with recent updated FW. Just wanted to post that people are getting this info from the horses mouth (So to speak), Thats all.

I only posted that info because you were sort of getting attacked for your claim, But....

Like others have said, Just to be on the safe side flash back to OFW first. After all, You have to open up your 360 to flash it to the new FW, So you may as well (3-5 minutes max each flash, With a 5 minute dash update in between).

That quote is from 2011-10-12, this means nothing as far as the new dash update.
