Upgrade an upgraded HDD

Replaced original HD with a WD 120 gig, soon realized this would run out fast. Want to upgrade to a 250gb, can i just copy C,E,and F files of the current 120gig hd to the computer and then FTP them onto the new 250 hd, or do i have to use the original hd. Can i transfer saved games to the new one just by copying F:/games to the computer and then to the HD, or do i have to do them again? Appreciate all help.

Also, i have the X3CE and Xbox v1.6. Use Avalaunch and currently use a WD 120 gig. Dont know if this helps, just forgot to put it with the rest.

You should just be able to copy from and to, yes.

MAKE SURE YOU UNLOCK THE 120 Gig before you remove it. Otherwise it'll be useless in anything else until you do.
