upgrade from cr3 lite to cr4 xl

Hi all,

I have a corona v1, with a cr3 lite installed (I did it ages ago), all works perfectly, but takes ages to boot.

I would like to replace this with a cr4 xl.

Obviously I need to put 5v to the chip instead of 3v, and run a wire from pad E to DB2G3

I assume I can use the existing cpu reset and pll bypass wires????

My main question is:

Once installed, will I then need to create and flash a new image with the cr4 box ticked within jrunner?

Or will the existing image work?

Any help welcomed.

ok, all done, and glitching within 3 cycles.

For info:

After installing, the xbox did not glitch at all. I had to shorten the cpu_rst wire by approx 1 inch, then worked immediately.

Whilst the xbox was open, I also installed a talisman whisper fan.

However - It is louder than the stock fan.
