My X2.xpro is soldered in my XBOX system I want to know if I can use the same solder points or the same wire holster for the X3pro. I had my X2.x installed for me because I dont know the 1st thing about soldering. I have one of the 1st Version Xbox. I would do the Xapt3r when its released but I dont know how to remove the solder that is already in place. What are my options?

either way will work

1 - cut all the wires half way and then tin the new wires onto the old wires.

2 - get a de-soldering braid and put that to the solder point heat up with the soldering iron and itll suck the solder out the holes.

Firewall Question

I'm a bit confused. I've been told by my computer-savvy friend, that, since I access the internet a router, with anti-virus software on my system, I don't need a third-party firewall, since Windows' inbuilt Firewall, which I have switched on all the time, will do the job adequately.

However, if this is the case, why would anyone purchase third-party firewall protection? Am I safe?

Re: Firewall Question

It is obvious !!!

What you need to do is to put all of your computer stuff back into it's original packages and then take it back to the shop you got it all from.

Then tell the shop assisstant to take it off of you because you are too f**king thick to use it.

All your questions are computer issues. This is a Xbox360 forum

Re: Firewall Question

hardware firewalls (routers ) are more secure then a software firewall (windows any version).

it recommended that you use a router with a firewall built in, and the windows firewall at the same time.
