Upgrade modchip

I installed a DUO2 in my XBox, but I recently purchased the xecuter 2.6 chip.
Can I upgrade my Duox2 to the 2.6?
also, if so/or not; what changes need to be made to make the exchange work?

the X2 uses more pins than the duox2. You can completely redo the pinheader or fin the rest of the holes with solder then heat the solder again and slide in the extra pins
