Upgrade to iXtreme? Problem with Backups

I am currently on the old Xtreme 52 firmware and I have made quite a few backups with the 0800 disc and XBC. They work perfectly and I have no problems.

I now want to upgrade to iXtreme newest version so I can get gold and play online safely. My question is will I be able to play the backups I made? If not what is the best solution for getting them working on iXtreme? Hopefully there is a solution to my problem.

I think as long as the backups you made before were stealthed then yes they will work. If not I doubt it.
