Upgrade to x2.6

Ok I just bought my friends modded xbox. It currently has the x2.3b Lite + chip

the xbox is a 1.0


what would it take to upgrade this to a x2.6 chip? Also if i was to upgrade it to the new chip as far as the 120gig hd in it right now would that still work eith everythign on it or would i have to do somethin to get it to work. i would probably just buy a new hard drive though. any help would be appreciated.

If the chip works, there really is no reason to even bother with upgrading. You could flash with 5035, but that's about all you would have to do.

You can use your current hard drive after flashing a new bios.
