Upgrading Bios???

Sorry gang, but am really confused on how to upgrade my BIOS to a new one.
I was wondering what the procedure is on how to upgrade from 2913 on 1mb bank (on,on,off,off,off) to the new bios 3029??? From What I have read you need to press the eject and power switch at the same time and then have the bank switches to 5678 (off, on, off, off, off)... I get this far and then what???

I have the Bios on my computer and I have flashFXP and am able to connect to my xbox... Please help out on how to Upgrade to a new BIOS.

I have a version 1.0 xbox and running x3.

The easiest way would be to use the WebFlash in the X3CL.
Just boot to the ConfigLive, (hookup lan cable n stuff ofcourse) then enter your xbox's IP in a web browser like http://<xbox IP>

Hey Boss, do I need to be connected to the internet so am able to do this? and when selecting the bank file do I select the bank where the 2913 BIOS is or Do I place the new BIOS on another BANK (5678)???.

actually, since you already have a working bios, the easiest way to flash is by ftp flash. Here are the steps to do it (I assume you already got your xbox setup for ftp with your computer):

Suppose you got 2913 in banks 1234, then I would flash 3029 into banks 5678 just in case you want to get back to 2913 bios. To ftp flash, disable flash protect. Get on X3 config live by pressing power button and hold down on the white button of the controller. Use ftp client on your PC to connect to your xbox (remember pw & username are "x3" without the quotes). Go to admin/bios banks/1024k banks/. Transfer your appropriate bios into bank 1+2+3+4 or bank 5+6+7+8 (if 2913 is in banks 1234 then put 3029 bios in 5+6+7+8 folder). Your xbox should start the flash process. Of course when it's done, you want to set your switches to appropriate settings to boot to new bios (off on off off).
