Upgrading bios???

Specs:

XBOX v1.0
X3 chip
old X2 4981.06 Bios
200 HD

My question is I want to update my bios to the new X3 3294 bios without loosing all my saved games and emulators. Is there a way to just reflash my bios with out starting over?

Yes, you simply reflash the bios!!! Bios doesn't affect the hdd where all that stuff is stored. Bios is stored onboard the chip.

Do I need to back up any drives? or just flash the chip again
