I upgraded my softmodded box with a larger hard drive using my chipped box by preparing the HDD and updating my chipped box's eerprom with the backup eeprom of my softmodded xbox. Now when I put back the chipped box's hard drive back to the chipped box, it comes up with " OOPS, SOMETHING IS WRONG" with error code 06 in the corner. I get the same error with the chip enabled or disabled and with bank 1 or bank 2. I had the flash protect enabled when I updated the xbox's eeprom with the softmod eeprom. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Xbox Version: v1.1
Xecuter 2.6 CE
250GB HDD
Unleash X

You've replaced an EEPROM without unlocking your HDD. This is why you're getting Error 06.

Why replace the EEPROM in the first place? Have you a backup of the old EEPROM? If not, this has just cost you a HDD.

I do have a backup of the old eeprom and I finally got it to work using xboxhdm to unlock the drive and re-update the eeprom with the backup. Thanks for your input..
