When trying to read my NAND with NandPro v3.0a, I keep getting this error

http://img600.imageshack.us/img600/2615/photo1tr.jpg

I realize this is mostly likely due to soldering issues, and I have removed the joints and made new ones, and I am stumped. They all look good to me, so I don't know why the read won't work.

Here are some pictures of my work.

Hopefully someone will see something wrong and I can get this working. Thanks!

you do have the console pluged in but not powered up right.
Yes, xbox 360 is plugged in, and NAND-X is connected to both Phat QSBs. Have tried with and without NAND-X plugged into CoolRunner. Still get the error.

The only relevant soldering points for reading the NAND should just be on the QSBs, correct?

Are you sure you installed the drivers? The message say it's looking for the USB device. You will get a different error if the nand isn't detected like "Could not detect a flash controller!"

Is windows detecting your nand x when you plug it in?
Yup, I already used the NAND-X to set the Zephyr files to the console, so it has to be in the soldering somewhere, I think

unsolder it and see if you get the same message. If you do then you have a problem with the nand-x itself and not with the soldering.

What do you mean unsolder it? Unsolder what? The QSBs?

oops.. forgive me lol. I don't have a nand x but I do have a Matrix. Just unplug the nand x from the xbox and run the command line again. I forgot the nand x was plug and play.

Naw just dont plug anything in. thats much easier than desoldering the QSBs! Have you tried Hitting the rest button on the nandx yet. Plug it in and press the Rest button for 10 seconds.
Yeah, still no difference. Get the same error :/

When you plug in your NandX does your windows make the expected chim indicating that the device has been detected properly? Also what lights do you get on your nandX?
Also check in your Device manager that it is being detected. It should be listed under "Pruftechnik USB Devices" as "Xecuter nand-X Usb"

When the NAND-X is plugged into my computer (Windows 7 x86 running through Parallels on my Macbook Pro) via USB, I get the device connected chime, and the Yellow light and PWR lights are lit up.

Okay. Have you tried powering on the Xbox to see if it boots up still? You nandX is detecting properly so its not the problem. You soldering looks good but it could still be the problem.
I haven't tried. I will do that now. Won't the Coolrunner interrupt the boot cycle as it is already installed?

sine when was the NAND-X plug n play... You gotta manually install drivers.

Anywho, I came across the same kinda errors... Always when my solderings were sh*t.. Lol. Get a magnifying glass n check those damn solderings. They may appear to be OK, but if you didnt manage to heat up the pads you might have a tiny gap between it and the QSB.

I just tried to boot the Xbox and nothing happened. Might I have somehow blown a circuit? I pressed the power button with the DVD drive, and front panel and fan plugged in, and got nothing.

And I haven't tried programming the chip itself yet. I will try that
