customer said console shuted off while he playing for damaged power socket on the wall .

Doesnt sound right. What happens If you splice the cable and supply 5V from Another source, and leaving data+/- and GND connected to your console? The alternative supply Will need to be grounded to your consoles GND also.replaced SB .
