USB storage device and Xbox 360

been milling over this for a while. is there anyway to save gamertags/save files to a usb storage device? if not... can you put music on the device and use it for ingame music? i just read something about ipod being able to hook up to the 360 and it just sparked this question. for the record... screw apple! :lol:

No can't move gamer profiles over to the usb mem card but you can pack one up with music and pics and whatever and pop it in the usb slot on the 360 and it'll play em all

but can you play MP3's and view pics straight from the usb device without having a hard drive.... got the core system. i should've been more specific!

yeah you should be able to... Just got to nagivate to the pictures / music sub menu in the dash when it's plugged in... Core or Preium, i don't think it matters...

it would be nice if you could save games to them.... i have like 3 sitting around with alot of space. i don't have a reason to get the HD really.

heh yeah there's also a memory card slot mod that you can do to a usb stick like 2GB or so and use it for that Tho the project seems to be dead... Don't find too many LIVE urls etcs on the files that'd be needed but I do have the memory card drivers if anyone wants to give it a shot.. I'm betting it'd work

I'd say any generic memory driver would do but to do some hacks / clone or whatever you may need the correct drivers let me know if you get lucky and find a good digagraph where it lets us know how to hook up a 2GB mem stick to the Offical Mem card for the 360
