ANSWERED usb_control_msg failed -5

Hi,im all setup and about to read my nand im in Coolshrimp(reset glitch) and i get either 'Looking for usb interface device Can not continue' or ' usb_control_msg failed -5'.

I have red and yellow lights on on the nand-x and the motherboard is plugged into the mains,device manager is saying XECUTER NAND-X USB all working fine.

I did flash my nandx up to v3 earlier as coolshrimp asked.

Im a bit stuck now and have been googling for the last hour but all i can find is check drivers etc but they are fine,i even uninstalled them and installed again.

PC is windows 7 32bit

Any help with this would be great thanks

i think i did it loads of times as im new to soldering.
Nand wont match now,first time 1 block second time 4 blocks.....third time lucky

Which Flash Config is NandPro showing you?

I will say this, do not build your FreeBOOT image unless you have at least two identical NAND dumps because you will just create more hard work for yourself afterwards.

All seemed to be going well Created .Ecc and then wrote the .Ecc but on booting the xbox into Xell i have no output to my tv,one red light on the coolrunner and green light on the xbox just no video output i have tried hdmi and av both nothing.
Have i done something wrong,should i start over again ?

DO NOT Write that with this error xell never wont boot up . and YOU DONT have nandx . the only one can help you is here cause i had this problem before . update your nand spi with last frimware and use nandpro 2.0 e

How many dumps did you take to get a valid NAND?

So what makes you think you'll be able to write data back accurately?

Pics of your soldering. I'm already concerned that you said you're new to soldering. RGH is NOT a noob solder job.

well don't do anything else with it until you've uploaded pics.

For now, flash the first 50 blocks back to make sure it still boots. Everything should still work with the CR enabled.

Hi, i took some photos with my phone camera but they did not come out too good so wont bother with that sorry.
Im pretty sure after reading the 2 valid nand dumps then coolshrimps went on to build the ecc and then write it,it wrote a bad ecc to the nand.
Its a good job i have had this console sitting around doing nothing as i think i have wrecked it.Will try again with another unit when i have more time,with 2 kids under 3 to look after i dont get alot of time for myself.
