Use Retail 360 PHAT HD In RGH SLIM

The hard drive I have in my slim died, kaput, donezo.

I have a hard drive, that I literally just took out of a retail PHAT 360 (my old console from back around 2006ish). What would I need to do in order to be able to use that hard drive in my RGH?

physically remove the actual hard drive from the shell its in for phat 360,and order a 5 dollar slim hard drive caddy from ebay.put it in the slim caddy slide it in the slim and bam done

To install FSD/Aurora would I just copy those files over to the new drive as well?

Sorry for the stupid qquestions...I have only done this before with a blank hard drive formatted via the RGH

It's the same thing, just skipp formating in "retail" dashboard.

To install Aurora/FSD copy the files to the new HDD.Install dashlaunch, select Aurora or FSD to start as default.
