There's nothing wrong with the older version. Read the PDF files that came with it before youuse it.

If you want to install newer versions of anything, just delete the old ones and ftp the new ones in there place.
Slayers is a great way to get started.

Slayers 2.6 has the latest Evox in it. You should update the DVD2Xbox to version 6.6 and the Media Center to the later version. Just get them, remove the old folders and ftp them into the same place the original folders were.

HEY I love slayers, its a great all in one tool if you just need to get the basic set up in there neat an quick. I usually just edit my ini file when I am done and its complete.

Whoever said you shouldn't have used Slayers, punch them in the chest or something. If you think Slayers is cool, then use it. If you want to do it all manually then do it all manually. I used Slayers cuz I didn't want to format my hdd manually, cuz that would be a pain. Slayers did it all for me, while I sat back and watched. Then when it was done, I checked to see if I needed any newer versions and I updated... simple as that.

You don't have to have just one dash... you can have up to 15 or so... jsut copy them all to f and ftp the one you want to c

I have evox and avalaunch... also the dash is just an INI file... open it with word pad and mess with it... just keep a good copy in f incase you jerk it up.

I hooked my xbox to the pc and tv... ftp'd to it and messed with evox for awhile... loaded it into c and rebooted...

I had screwed it up a little so I just kept doing it till I liked it.

They're easy to configure... so just mod it to your liking!
