Great but I asked 2 questions, thats not exactly holding my hand... as much money as i spend on xecuter products (4gb r/w kit, postfix adapters, nand-x, usb pro v1 & v2, etc...) i don't think its cool to ridicule me for overlooking bridging 2 resistor pads... every "professional" had to start somewhere, i'm making my way up through the ranks. forgive me if i don't remember every detail and i ask a simple question.

build it with the nomobile option selected, or extract the main files and build an image without nanddump.bin. That way it's completely clean.

Just to clarify, I just used this method This is what works and no need for donor KV, quick and easy no more "Sorry, this console can't play until your subscription payments are up to date" gone!!

I have a few questions about this i bought a motherboard like this i just put a proto chip in it without changing anything it allready boots within 3 cylcles. (I will tweak it later)

This is what the seller said:

hi, sorry the delay. i have a v4 4gb corona (no post out. must use post fix). it was an expired subscription console. so no repairs done, just rgh to get keys and build glitch image. preflashed with freeboot image but NO qsbs installed.

It boots to xell but when i boot to dashboard i cant open freestyle installer, xexmenu, xell launch or anything else because it gives the error above.

Since only the motherboard is new i wanted to pair my dvd drive and change the region. So i used the "Advanced > Patch nand" option in J-runner changed the DVD key and the region to PAL/EU and changed the DVD type from 1532 to 1175. But after reading this topic a bit it seems like that is not enough. I dont have a donor nand from an other V4 i only have a rebuild nand from my old corona V2.

The HDD that is in my console allready contains freestyle dash so changed the dashlaunch settings to "Hdd:\FSD\default.xex" when i flash this will the console just boot to FSD or will it still give the error?

This all is a little above my head so what exactly do i need to do next?

The post says no need for kv but when i try to build a immage without a nand dump under the advanced tab it says i need a kv...

So is this what i do?

From new motherboard (Corona V4)

fcrt_dec.bin renamed to fcrt.bin
SMC_dec.bin renamed to SMC.bin
fcrt_dec.bin renamed to fcrt.bin

then take this from my old corona V2:

KV_dec.bin renamed to kv.bin

put them in all in "C:\No installer\J-Runner\xeBuild\data"

Set lockdown value to 3

Choose motherboard type > then under advanced patch nand and change region and dvd key?

You can't change the region code or DVD key on a retail console.

RGH is region free.

It does not need to be a retail console it needs to be RGH only I just want a RGH xbox with a working DVD drive but since my dvd is from an other console i asume i still need to change the key right or does RGH do that?

Also is there any downside when selecting nomobile instaid of building a new image?

You have two options - use an LTU2 PCB or use another DVD-ROM (flashed with the correct drive key) and enable NOFCRT.

Using NOMOBILE won't have any adverse affects - the image will be made with the "lock" removed which means it will function as a glitched console.

There is one more problem the motherboard came preflashed with glitch image and xell. But i cant launch anything from my dashboard and from what i understand i cant flash my nand trough xell since it is 48mb. It does recouldnise my flashdrive but doesnt start the updflash.bin and rawflash doenst seem to do 48mb eighter.

When i ordered the proto chips the R/W kit was not in stock, i do have a corona V2 qsb so i could still use that with wire install but if there is any other method without hardware flashing i would prefer that

just to clarify,nomobile option in jrunner now works fine for these consoles,so no need for donor kv anymore.
