i have my coolrunner hooked up with a jtag cable to lpt, have you tried both options? also maybe try putting the port number in manually in settings? i just choose jtag cable and connect and it connects to my cr but i dont have nand-x connector to try for you. hope this helps

You may use the new timing files for programming CR through iMPACT and using JTAG cable but is it worth it? No report yet that these new timing files improve boot time for trinity.

So far what I think new timing files are integrated in 360gcProg. Anyone got XSVF/JED ?

Thanks

it has made a diffrence on a few consoles my end. a few used to have 2-3 good glitches then a few of looong boots and after new timing files it doesnt get the loong boots just 1-3 glitches usually within 10 seconds

Is there any way of extracting the XSVF/JED files from a programmed coolrunner? I only use NAND-X. There must be a way of obtaining these XSVF/JED files without having to use 360gcProg

I could do with these too. Just done a Trinity using QSB's (inc the post QSB instead of the coiled blue wire).

Best boots I get are with 41cm, but boot times are inconsistant, varying from 6 seconds on some boots to 46 seconds on other boots, but that's the best I can get. Have tried all cable lengths, even set the coolrunner to "Phat", but that wouldn't work at all.

Hope the updated timing files sort it out.

i guess he is saying the truth , lets wait and see, i cant find the files for myself actually searched everywhere.
