I'd have to agree with what ubergeek says in other threads. It seems to be a marketing gimmick because i did not notice any advantages to using that on my cpld. I have been able to achieve consistent boot times (5-10 second) on the trinity i just did yesterday by following the wiring diagrams to the "T" and and soldering the cpu_rst to the 47 pad. This is using the trinity cpld file in J-Runner.

well let us know if it helps you. Not sure what you are going to use to flash that svf if you have a nand-x though.

I have a nand-x and the coolrunner attachment, but in order to flash svf i have to use my universal lpt jtag

last night because i was bored i flashed the alt timings. it makes my box take 30-60 seconds to boot.

this is up from 5-10 seconds every time.
