how to? i have a 4gb slim and want to use an external to store games on it. is there a tut on this? like how to get the FSD and xex or whatever theyre called on an ext hdd? thanks in advance. my stuff arrives tomorrow!! have read the tuts front and back so i feel im ready for the rgh process, im just really unsure if the xex/freestyle dash is all part of the ggbuild pack and how to make the xbox access ext hdd. also can i ftp to ext?
i have a seagate goflex 500gb if that means anything

after you do all the rgh stuff, you need to install xex menu , after that if your trying to boot directly into fsd you need dashlaunch, there are tons of tuts google is your friend, xex menu has built in ftp function and i believe fsd does also, hdd shouldnt matter

That drive will work fine, you will need to format it to Fat32 before the different dash's will read it (NXE, FSD Xexmenu) . I just rip the ISO of the games and put in a folder (name of the game) and put that in a folder called "Games" in th root dir, just put all your games in there and FSD, Xexmenu will read them. The other way is to use GOD files (Games On Demand) format of the game, it's a larger file size of the game but a lot people use GOD. Just do some reading on these type game files and see what works for you, I like to rip them I can get a lot more games on my drive.

lol.. I've done that before "Time for more company upgrades". I was at Costco the other day and saw they had a WD drive 1TB USB 2.5 for $80, it will hold 170 games in rip format and is not much bigger than a pack of smokes, I got 2 for my business, got to have expenses
