ANSWERED Using a Kinect on 13604

Hi folks,

Quick question regarding using a Kinect for the first time on Freeboot dash 13604.

My question is - I've got Freeboot 13604 which includes avatars and is already setup for Kinect. I'm thinking of picking a Kinect up but I'm not sure if when I connect it it will bug/force me to update to the latest dash (14699) which I don't really want to do as I'm happy with 13604.

Any ideas?

i think you'll have to stay on 13604 mate but don't take that as gospel wait for someone to confirm it

No it wont. Just make sure you have installed the latest media and avatar updates for 13604 then you should be allright.

nope it won't bug you to update to 14699. And you can use 13604 $$ystemupdate in usb if it bugs you for update when you connect the kinect.
