I have a 250GB Internal that I want to switch between two machines and dont want to "store" GOD games on it because one machine is not RGH'd, I have and I want to use a external 500GB usb HD for game storage. Is there a way to get GOD games to show up in NXE using an external HD on my RGH'd machine? I have read and read but can't seem to find what I am looking for, any help would be appriciated.

If you format the ext hdd with the xbox they will show up or use quickboot and make shortcuts

You could format the external drive to FATX and create the relevant directories (content/0000000000000000) and drop GOD games in there.
It is formated to FAT32, can I still create the dir or will it need to be FATX? And it does show up in the Xbox!

I suppose you could make 2 partitions one being fat32 and one being fatx. Or put them on fat32 and make shortcuts for NXE with quickboot

And could I ask what the difference is between FAT32 and FATX?

Sorry Warezrat my bad I guess your gonna have to go fatx or fat32 with shortcuts to NXE

He won't need shortcuts if he formats the drive to FATX.
yeah sorry Blakey, been reading on FATX but it seems my HD is not the right one...... I will have to use FAT32 & shortcuts.

Ignore that about "not the right one", you are not tied to WD drives with a JTAG/RGH console.

This is because FreeBOOT doesn't have any kind of HDD signature checks enabling you to use any brand of drive and capacity ;).

Ok Thanks! So all I have to do is format it in the xbox and then build the 00000.'s?

Ok so I go and format the external HD with the Xbox, it formats to 16GB, and I can only get two games on it??? Is there a way to use the "whole" 500GB drive? Not sure what I did wrong. I was using Modio 3 to transfer the games, maybe this has something to do with it? Is there another proggy I should be using? Any help would def be appriciated. :) I though that the limits were not taken into account with the RGH. Maybe just in Freeboot??

why dont you install fsd2.2. Then you can alternate between nxe and fsd.

RXE is due soon and imo fsd is much better than nxe anyway.

format ya ext hdd with a pc.

i always thought god games had to be in the content folder in int hdd for nxe (and patched with nxe2god) but with fsd you can choose the paths to games int or ext.
