Get a program called party buffalo for your pc and format the drive with it then it should show the whole 500 gb
I got Party Buffalo Drive explorer 2.009 and nowhere can I see in it to be able to format the drive. Looks like Modio 3 and probably works like it!:)

Even easier. Let the xbox format it for you. Create a custom size MU and if the format is wrong, it'll reformat it for you. You can delete the xbox360 folder afterwards if you don't want it as an MU.

Thanks to all who replied but I think it will be a 16GB drive untill someone smarter than me comes up with a formating solution, maybe thru a FSD!! :D

I've just explained it to you? Do as above and FSD will see the whole drive.

1. Format external drive in fat32
2. Put god files in a folder
3. Set fsd to search for god files in that folder in "content settings"
4. Restart fsd
5. Play games

Check STBY_CLK as a first step. Sounds like there's a bad connection there. Good luck!

UPDATE
So I open the box again, check all connections (look good) same problem happens (bing, green flash and dead).... I decide to resolder all the joints, plug things back in, get the ribbon cable wrong:facepalm:, startup the box and now everything seems ok and stable.:D At least for now! Put everything back together(flipped the ribbon cable!) and letting it run while put the games on the FAT32 drive.
Martin
On another note, I noticed that in EASUS Partition Magic the drive shows up as two partitions, one being "unallocated" and one 205.94GB(allocated) & 259.79 (unallocated) hence my questions above(i learned something today!). In Windows manager it shows up as a full 465GB fomatted drive, above so I will go with that. Thanks for all the help.
