I dont have a NandX programmer. I have a Trinity installed with a Demon and I want to use that Demon to program the coolrunner on a different xbox (Corona V4) using the demon ribbon cable. Is that possible?

Not having much luck. So I have a Dual nand trinity working like a treat (Demon, CR3lite). I have also got a Corona V4. The plan was to use the Trinity Demon to program the Corona CR3Lite.
1) Used R/W SD kit to read Corona Nand ok.
2) Installed postfix adaptor.
3) Installed CR3Lite (tried to flash at various stages through the install but NG). CR3Lite installed with Coronal Recommended settings.
4) Plug in ribbon cable from Trinity demon to Corona CR3Lite (correctly fitted and switch set to normal)
5) Plug in power to both consoles and connect Demon USB to laptop.
6) In J-runner load Corona Nand dump.
7) Flash CR3Lite, error TDO Mismatch (tried many things always the same error).
Attached photos to show set-up.
Any help would be great.

solder a wire from the av port on the trinity to the av port on the corona...... the systems are not shareing a common ground, so the circuit is broken.also make sure both consoles have power connected to them.

no problem....... your welcome. also as a side note the coolrunner attatchment board is not needed with cr3-lite, or cr3-pro, or r-jtag for that matter.

Yeah, I know Martin C pointed this our in some of my earlier posts. I was just going to confirm if there was an issue with the on-board connector that is why I added it on.
If you don't own a multimeter, you really should get one.

This was my first corona and needed a postfix adaptor installed. I could not get the CR3Lite debug to flash. In the end I found that the spring on the postfix adaptor was broken so I tried to remove to replace with another. Lets just say the removal process was not very graceful and I pulled one of the resistors with it, pads and all. To be honest I thought initially that the spring on the postfix adaptor was a manufacturing fault so obviously did not understand its function.

just because you pulled up a resistor doesnt mean the console is ruined...... the one i run right now looks horrible, but was free because some one messed it up...... had to fix demon alt install on it, and messed up sonus 360 eject point on motherboard. Works great now, but was a pain to fix...... so since you figure it is ruined, i would say that if it is just 1 resistor, try to find alt points and resistor value, and install a new one.

Fairly certain that is a capacitor, and it looks like the pads still have solder on them....... so all you need is to find out what capacitor is there. I dont have a slim console around, so i cant help you there.

There is no pads, the solder is on the perimeter of the pad. Looks better on the picture than it is, good camera shot I think. Can someone who has done this before shed some light please. I have not tried returning it to stock, can it possibly work without repair?
