Alright, I have two 360's, one is my legit one for playing on live, and my other one is my jtag, which I will never connect to the internet. So far the games I play off of my external hard drive with the jtag I have been using a flash drive for a profile to save with. My question is, can I plug my xbox 360 hard drive with my legit xbox live account into the jtag? Will playing games off of the external hard drive and saving the progress on the microsoft one cause my account to get banned, or do something to my hard drive? I will not connect to xbox live obviously, but I was wondering if it is safe to plug in my microsoft hard drive with all the legit files, dlc, saves, etc and not have anything banned or screwed up.

a little off topic but this will be my solution once i get everything set up corectly and find tut's and such
(im assuming you want the acheivments and such from your JTAG on you XBL acc. because that is what i want)

my plan is to find a tutorial and make a complete copy of my legit XBL active HDD on my PC and from there transfer to my JTAG HDD (tho i will be using a M$ licensed enclosure on my JTAG not an external USB HDD) than once i have obtained a numerous amounts of acheivments or want to play my game save from my JTAG on my legit i will than transfer the data from my JTAG to my legit (not the full games and what not of course will have to manually clean out the JTAG data or some thing of the sort)

this is just my idea i have no clue if its even possable or not perhaps some one here can shed more light on that particular idea tho its really the only way i can see doing what you and i want to do

alright, well I just want to plug my xbox 360 hard drive with my normal account onto the jtag in order to get achievements and just have the game saves on my legit hard drive. In theory, my legit hard drive should be perfectly fine including my account as long as I don't connect to xbox live with the jtag correct? Could microsoft see that some of the game saves on my account were from games played off of an external hard drive, for whatever reason when I play xbox live on my normal 360? I don't want anything to happen to my account and hard drive data by plugging it into the jtag, so I assume this is a straight yes or no answer?
