Using M2 Drive with Switch USB C

Hi all as the title says

Has anyone tried this, I know it would be fine when on dock is on and power is in but interested if anyone has tried it on switch, if it would fry the Switch etc.

It would draw alot more power then a USB thumb drive etc.

What are peoples thoughts on this.

I tried with both M2, sata SSD and a 4tb HDD, all work tho the battery drains really fast (and I'm using the mariko unit with increased battery life)
