I know there used to be ways to use a regular laptop HD in the 360 but dont remember the specs and sizes.
Ive tried to google but i guess its so old now i cant find anything.

Anyone know of or have the instructions to format a regular laptop HD for a 360, I have a spare 80gig lying around I wanted to use to replace my 20 on there.

The 20 is actually already out of its case and just taped to the side so that parts done lol.

thanks

I assume your console isn't modified in any way?

You can install pretty much any 2.5" (or 3.5" with some modifications) hard drive into a JTAG/RGH system.

A retail system requires a 20GB/60GB/120GB/250GB/320GB HDD as mentioned above and it must be a particular model (one compatible with HDDHackr - the WD BEVS/BEVT drives are quite popular).

You also won't be able to play original xbox games with an unofficial micro$oft hdd.
