I purchased a few Coolrunners early this year before I started college again. Didnt end up using them due to being in school and my focus being elsewhere.

I just picked up a Trinity from someone and was awaiting the DGX so I could get my key and RGH it.

I just got my DGX, Liteon PCB, and DemoN in the mail and am going to install it all here shortly.
I didn't buy a new CR since I already had a couple laying around.

They are Rev B's though.

I have been doing some searching/reading and from what I understand is that if I am going to use my Rev B CR with my Demon, I need to solder the "EN" point to the appropriate corner pin on the CR as there is not an official pad for it

Correct?

Also thought I read that I would need to update my CR via J-Runner using my DemoN?

Found the info on the sticky: http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=88173

I am under the impression that I install the DemoN and CR like normal, solder to the pin on the CR to the add-on for the Demon... and then open up J-Runner to install the .xsvf to my CR?

Also under the impression that I will need to remove the C15 cap from my CR, but will not need the extra resistor where this is not a Phat install.

Also correct?

Sorry, but I just want to make sure I have it all down before I do the install. I spent a lot of money on all the stuff and don't want to screw it up. It's been a year since I've done any RGH's...

:)

Thanks!

You will need to solder to an IC pin for CR_EN.

You can use J-Runner to read/write with the DemoN - it will allow you to read/write to both NANDs and program your CoolRunner.

Remove the C15 capacitor - it isn't needed or used on slim consoles.

Based on the information I have given you, a search of the forum should allow you to expand and understand more about the CoolRunner and DemoN.
