Ok, so i heard if i can not see 3.0.1 flashbios screen, and i can see 3.0.3, i have a 1.6b, my problem is that i cant load from on,on,off,off,off, i get a blank screen, but i can load from off,on,off,off,off and i get 3.0.3.

My question is, how can i get my backup to load 3.0.3, b/c it tries to go to 3.0.1?

Thanks for any help. i just got my chip yesterday, and i KNOW everything is soldered right.

So you're still booting ok from off on off off?

If so, then boot using these switches and once FlashBIOS is on screen, set the switches to off on off off and flash the X3 BIOS. Once you're in X3CL you can flash the backup ROM (256k) with the 3.0.3 version of FlashBIOS.

If you mess up banks 1234 (on on off off) then just boot off on off off and try again from the top.
