I have a v1.0 board with a riser PCB that the USB plugs in to. It is right in front of where all the tuts say to attach it to the RF shield. Due to the lenght of the wires and the placement of the riser, power connector, and the drives I can't seem to find a good place to mount the adapter. Considering just letting it float but still doesn't look like it will fit. Has any one had this problem? If so where did you put the adapter?

I had this on a ver 1.0 ..... yes

It's a slight pain but it will just fit if you bend the wire down to the plug gently. The daughter board doesnt really push on the PCB that much so it should be OK. I now have it floating as I changed cases anyway, and so it finds it's own position more or less, but you can move it to a less-stressful position.

Floating

After reading your reply I decided to float it and let the post from the DVD casing go between the cables with the board floating under the DVD. Thanks for the reply! :)

I've got mine between the front of the unit & the riser. I lined it up to where the black wire connector is directly above the connection point on the motherboard. It's a snug fit, but it worked.
