V1.6 Using PCB Installation problems

Hello,

Installed X3 on a crystal 1.6 box today using the PCB Rebuild.

When I start up it turns on and off 2 times then frag red/green 2 times then blinking yellow and then fan goes as fast as it can and the xbox cannot be powered off without removing the power cord.

Any suggestions, the soldering looks great, no splashes....

Good-looking soldering doesn't mean good soldering. Have another bash.

I have the same problem, but mine boots fine to MS dash when chip is removed. Anyone had anything like this happen?

Yup, you've got a FRAG.

Check your soldering; no matter how 'good it looks' or even 'if youve checked it a million times', do it again.

Well, turns out my problem was I forgot to solder one of the points on the LPC rebuild (PCB). Chip boots fine now. I can't friggin' believe it.... I did something that worked!

Are newer consoles JTAG'able?
