v2 corona

hi just fitted my v2 corona r/w kit.. on my laptop i have a built in card reader when i plug the r/w kit in it comes up in j-runner as a pyishcal drive does not say anything about cornoa 4gb do i need a usb card reader or is this normal thanks wayne

corona 4gb shows up like a physical drive it wont show anything about a corona,jus try a read

Try another SD card reader.

The "cheaper" ones tend to work best (those that you can get for £1.50 on eBay or something lol).

You should also post an image of the R/W QSB (installed of course).

The only way the R/W kit would be faulty is if you damaged it during install.

Ensure you connect everything in the right order.

unplug everything from the console.

set the switch to R/W.

connect the PSU to the console.

plug the white adaptor into your SD reader.

plug the SD reader into your PC.

Make sure you run j runner as admin and try to solder a wire from the ground point on the rw kit to a ground on the board.

am sure this a card reader issue so am just testing things i set the r/w kit to r/w and tryed to boot the console martin c mention this in a thread i read when searching the console did not boot so thats good i want to test solder points with multi meter but cant find much info i use multi meter allot on dvd drives setting the pots up so if any 1 could point me to some info and what reads i should be getting that would be great thanks wayne
