High guys, I had afew quick questions.. hoping you could help me out. First, is there anywhere to get a better deal on these discs.. specifically if you're buying in bulk? I checked their site, and it seems the biggest they offer is a 20 pack, which seems pretty lame to me.. But, is there any (reputable) online retailers where I could order 50-100 of these? I'm guessing they'll have to be in the 20pack spindles.. which would be fine, but I'd like to get some kinda discount/reduction in price if I'm buying that many.. you guys heard/seen anyone that offers something like that?

Second, what is the difference between the 'branded disc' and 'inkjet printable' discs? I know this sounds like a stupid questions.. but, how do the inkjet printable discs work? It sounds like you could print labels directly onto the discs, but I'm not sure how that would work.. maybe someone could explain it to my dumbass, haha

Also, do any of you guys do/make custom labels for your backups? I've read from Textbook that putting adhesive labels on your discs is a big bad idea. Thats why I'm leaning more toards maybe trying to use Lightscribe. Has anyone done this? Maybe you feel like walking a noob like myself on how you did yours? Like where you found the labels, which settings to use, etc.

This site is awesome, and yes.. I know I'm a noob with alot of this sh*t, but I'm trying to learn more... maybe I'm too worried about trivial sh*t like lables for my backups, I dunno.. but any help would be much appreciated.. thanks!

Inkjet printable are solid white on the top so that you can print color directly on them, but you need a printer that has that feature. If your printer doesn't have a CD slot they wouldn't be of any use to you. Label stickers are a bad idea because it's almost impossible to get them on 100% right which causes the disc to be uneven and wobble, plus they tend to peel up after a while. I've never seen Lightscribe DL, I don't think it exists yet, but single layer Lightscribe media is still pretty expensive so DL would be worse.

For me, these are backup copies and a black Sharpie works just fine. :)

Thanks for the quick reply bigd23

I've been thinking of buying a new printer anyway, so maybe I will look into the CD printing option. And yea, I hear what you're sayin about them being backups, and a backup sharpie would work just fine.. I dunno, I guess it's just my OCD kicking in, but if I'm gonna have a nice big collection of backups, I'd like them to look halfway decent.. you know?

Also, this is the best place I've been able to find for Game CD images.. (linked to by someone on here, thanks) anyone else know of any other (maybe better?) places to download the Game CD images? The ones from this site look pretty good to me though.. just have to see how they look after I print them..
