I have just installed a xecuter 2.6 chip in my v1.6a xbox.
When i comes to turning it on with the chip enabled the xbox frags, however with the chip disabled it works fine.
From what i have read this is not a D0 problem as the xbox tries to load the bios off the chip and fails.
I have checked the LPC soldering and cleaned up any messy solders. I have used the LPC rebuild and all the solders to the pins and motherboard look ok but i have not tested them with a multimeter or anything.
Could the problem be caused by an incompatible version of flashbios?? i have read one version doen't work on the 1.6 xbox. The chip was bought about a month or 2 ago from whitedog. If this is the case, how do i go about putting a new version of flashbios on the chip?
Any other ideas would be much appreciated!
