i modded my xbox around christmas time, very little trouble with the install. im obviously running the 2.6 with a 160 gig hd. i have also relocated the internals of the xbox into a larger computer case, to take care of some heat issues. every once and a while it wil frag, and i have no idea what causes it. none of my soldering seems to have come loose however i have not thoroughly checked it. i remember a few times when my xbox fragged, i carried it down from my room upstairs, left it by my computer and the next day i turned it on and it ran fine. it has been about one month since the last incident and now its fragging again. with both hard drives in, the ms dash loads fine. on my 160 i cant get it to load without frags, but when i plugged in the original hd i booted it and the evox logo came up on the screen and the ms dash loaded up, because i had not loaded any other dashes onto that old hard drive.
does anybody have any hints as to what is going on before i have to tear my xbox apart and check the solder jobs? any help would be appreciated
