Very Important Question!!!!

okay, i can almost garuntee that this has been asked but here goes.

i bought the X3 mod chip and solderless adapter, the whole nine yards, the chip and accessories all came in and i set to installation immediately. i soldered the wires to the motherboard, installed the xapter and the chip, plugged everything up and then i tried to play a game on it.

i thought, i just wasted all of my money, well i did more research and i found out that i have to flash a bios and a dashboard onto the chip. my big question is.. how in the f*** do you do this?? i am a total noob and i aint gonna lie, its complicating for me.

needless to say, i have no clue what the heck i am doing, and i dont want to screw my precious xbox up and lose all memory on it. so can somebody please tell me exactly step-by-step what i need to do after i connect everything and put my xbox back together, again, i really need to know what the heck to do after installing the hardware. please send links or whatever you think will help me out, please im in dire need of it. my email is [email protected]

LOL. Sorry couldn't help myself laughing after reading your post. I don't mean any demeaning but I thought to myself, "you poor sob". LOL

BTW, don't know if you typed it wrong but the xapter is used for xecuter 2.6/2.6CE chips while Xapt3r is used for X2.6 to X3CE. Make sure you have the right solderless adaptor or else you will be pulling out your hair screaming why it's not working.

does anybody know of a good dashboard for my xbox that will let me do virtually anything?? just wondering, what would be the best dashboard for me to use with the X3? also, how do i get that onto the xbox?

Evolution X i think is a good dash for noobs, easy to set up and sh*t. go to xbins and get slayers evox, it will set itself up automatically if you follow the provided instructions. very simple process. modding is hard at the start [atleast in your postionit is] but youll get the hang of it. i love you
