Very quick question on D0!!!!!!!

With the PCB Rebilud...
Do you solder the d0 wire to the silver thing next to the word D0 ON the PCB or on the D0 point on the motherboard?

And also, could anyone give me tips on how to desolder the PCB Rebuild off the board? I am having problems desoldering...

Others ask what do do...
I know what to do...
I just cant do it!

Yes, you solder it to the pad.

To remove it, get some desoldering braid and a lot of patience!

ok thanks for the d0 thing..

I already have braid/wick and a soder sucker

Where should I place the braid when I apply the heat???? (they say the joint, but the joint is not reachable after you have sodered the PCB)
And the braid is fast if it works but rarely works...(I think im using it wrong)

Also, the soder sucker doesn't seem to be able to suck the soder on the pins because the soder is very little....???

this is my one gripe with the LPC rebuild PCB - removing it.

Work on one pad at a time and be patient. That's all I can suggest.

can i still boot to the original MS Dash...
like leave the half desoldered PCB and LPC, keep the D0 wire disconnected?
Then, ill disconnect the chip and put everything back the way it would be before a mod...
should it load the original dash...?(i need it temporarily)

if it still frags does that mean my XBoX is done?????????

disconnecting everything, it booted to original ms dash
meaning my xbox is still okay!!!!

I will later try to desolder....and get into the modded life..
