very very weird problem

My jtagged 360 will play original 360 games all of them including gears 3 and spacemarine,

It would not play my originals or my back up copies of the latest games, so with the help of lots of people on here i bought the usb360 and other bits and bobs and flashed my drive using jungle flasher,

Then with more help and following a tutorial i updated my dash to the latest dash 2.0.14719 every thing works,,, sort of...

when i put my original copy of gears of war 3 in my 360 the 360 recognises it and i can install it or play it or what ever i want to do..

but when i put the back up copy in the drive it see the game but it does not know what it is,

when i click game details it thinks its avp? and also i do not get an option to copy the game to hdd...

this is the same for skyrim and also batman arkham city,,

when i put them in my other system that is not jtagged that i updated the drive,

it recognises the games and plays them, so its not the images,,


also on my jtagged 360, any old back ups of my original games that i have such as dead island or borderlands works perfectly

so i am at a loss as to what i have done, or how to fix it

You didn't mention:

1. Which 360 exactly you have?

2. What drive your console have and which firmware on it?

3. How did you burn your backups?

1, I have a fat 360 with a jasper 256 nand, running dash 2.0.14719

2, my drive was a Lite on, but i just killed this about 5 mins ago so i have no idea what firmware was on it, i am trying to restore it as i made back ups via the jungle flasher tut but i cant do it, i am having no luck with this

3, Burnt the games with imgburn, and like i said though they are good burns as they work on my other 360

i cant believe i killed the drive

does anyone repair drives, i have back up files,, it may be easier to send it to someone who knows what they are doing and just sell all the bits i bought

i did not see any mention of running said images through abgx to make sure thier patched properly,could be that ur other consoles have hitachi/samsung drives that dont do ap2.5 checks,but liteon does,so on liteon if disc isnt patched properly,it wont play,dont matter how its patched on hitachi(older version 59-under) or samsung.

so your saying that on a lite on drive with unpatched game it recognises the game as avp?

if so i just trashed my drive for nothing?

i managed to save my drive,, its back the way it was before i started messing about,, it still plays originals and old back ups but wont play copies of new games,,
