hi guys, i did a search and tried the various methods i found here to try fix it but none so far have worked.

basically i have two 360's, an ms28 and an ms25.
in my pc i have an intel ich7 sata raid card.

i followed the guide by textbook and got all the latest software to flash my ms25 with 5.2c
took me about 3 mins! excellent. works perfect.

i then tried my ms28, which obviously didnt work because i had the wrong chipset.
so i bought a via vt6241A online.

well it got delivered today.
it detected and installed in windows.

im using the bad flash method and have followed the guide to a T!

the only thing i didnt do is disable raid, because i dont know how!

anyway, in dos the card isnt detected no matter which sata port i connect the 360 to. it sees my intel card ports though.

can anyone help please?

thanks.

Someone may correct me if I am wrong on this one, but i am almost 100% positive that only onbaord SATA ports ie on your motherboard are accesed via the bios, PCI SATA card's are done through windows. maybe someone will clarify/correct me on this.

If you have an intergrated SATA chipset/ports on your motherboard those device setting will show in the BIOS not a SATA card....

So I'm with you Leon

O'k have you disabled the intel SATA chipset from within the bios and is the seperate VIA SATA card installed correctly with the most upto date drivers?

And dont install the RAID tool for the PCI one. Just install the latest drivers for it.
