ok i just bought a new VIA VT6421 PCI SATA CARD and my problem is it wont show up in DOS but it will show up in Iprep plz can some one help me to fix this problem thanks

ok i just bought a new VIA VT6421 PCI SATA CARD and my problem is it wont show up in DOS but it will show up in Iprep plz can some one help me to fix this problem thanks
make sure you have all your drives disconnected. and then try it. if that fails make sure your sata cable is completely seated on both ends. if that doesn't work try a new sata cable. repeat.
if that doesn't work try a new location for the card. (this step worked for me)
