Video doesn't work on my Xbox

I have a v1.1 xbox and just put the 2.6 chip in it today. When i made the dish with the bios on it and put it into my xbox and told it to read it and then it said waiting for hard drive and froze there. Then my xbox shut off. When i now turn it on with the chip on my xbox fraggs. Nomatter what blank i have it one it still doesn't work. I was able to play with out the chip on then it froze and when i turn my xbox on without the chip on it doesn't have video or audio. I have checked all the cables 3 times. They are all connected and soldered correctly. I just don't know what is wrong.

For starters, I think you need to remove the chip completely for now - get the Xbox working without it.

Once this is the case, then look into reflashing the chip. If either bank doesn't work, then a programmer is what you need.

i have tried everything but it still doesn't work..... I have no idea what is wrong. I took everypart of the mod chip out and it still doesn't

If you want, take some close-up pictures of where you've been soldering and maybe I/we can work it out...
